Cindy Ong, 36, is a working mum with two kids aged seven and four. She started running in 2016 to regain her fitness after pregnancy and finished eighth place at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2018.

MY SCSM 2018 JOURNEY

It started with a dream to get into the top ten at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2018. While it seemed far-fetched initially, she went against all odds to achieve a huge improvement in her local marathon personal best, beat her Tokyo Marathon 2018 timing by about 10 minutes and earned herself an 8th spot in the local women category, as a full-time-working-mother of two.
